This is for day 6 of Itasaku Month at The theme for the day is Masquerade. And, I got it done on the right day this time... even though it could technically work for a couple of other days such as day one( beginning) or day 29 (party)
Sakura: Seriously, who are you? Itachi: What? Sasuke never mentioned me? Sakura: Sasuke? ... Oh! So, you are Sasuke-kun's brother? Itachi: hn Sakura: Well, Uchiha Itachi, it's nice to finally meet you.
I tried this style again: painting. I'm not too good at it yet, so this is practice. In a way it turned out better than I had hoped. The dress looks better than I had originally planned it. But, I screwed up the face like usual. Oh btw just to make sure y'all (yes I live in Tennessee so I say y'all) know, this picture is based off of non-massacre AU.
Digital painting can be difficult to master, but you're on the right track! The colors all work together, and you've done a great job of setting a mood. Here are a few things that you might want to keep in mind for next time: 1. Because you are not using lineart for digital painting, you have to create high contrast and definition in other ways. You've got some of the shading down, but it still looks flat and undefined. Next time, use darker and darker shades, and also, create more folds in the fabric! 2. Both characters' hair needs more dark-shading as well. For instance, where Itachi's bangs fall down overtop his hair, the hair underneath needs to be darker. It would also be worth your while to add more random strands of dark hair, to give them both some more volume.
I think this is a great start with digital painting! With practice, I think you will become very good at it.
